Well, I took him to the vet yesterday. Got his first shots, looked for a microchip (none), and we were on our way. Last night though, he got sick a couple of times and then wouldn’t eat this morning so I took him back to the vet. She felt a lump in his stomach so she took an x-ray and found that his intestines had flipped and he needed emergency surgery or he would have no chance of survival. I just left him at the vet and he should be in surgery now.
The thing is, this surgery is going to cost anywhere from $550-$930. I am a college student strapped for cash as it is. I didn’t want to tell her not to try so I told her to go ahead with the surgery and I’d figure out a way to pay… and that’s what I’m trying to do now. I set up a paypal donation account so any help you could give would be great. Every dollar (or even fifty cent) donation brings me closer to giving this little guy the amazing life he deserves.
